A Startling Revelation of Lordship (Mark 14:61-62)

• Jesus breaks His silence to answer the question about His identity.
• Jesus declares Himself to be the Son of God and Lord of all.

 

A Scornful Condemnation of Death (Mark 14:63-65)

• Jesus’ declaration of Lordship is met with accusations of blasphemy.
• Jesus’ death sentence is followed by merciless mocking, spitting, and beatings.
